I bought this because my 8 year old 8000 btu fan is slowing down. I need to take it apart to clean the fan blades. Easier access to clean interior parts would be a great. Dust and dirt build up over time. The front part is easy and I use a tooth brush to clean element behind the filter. I have 3 Frigidaire all good.

Easy install, could use a little more installation kit insulation. Decibel wise a little loud in the sleep cycle. Decent selection of options regarding operation and running but a little confusing to just do a basic standard operational mode.

I live in an apartment with a medium size bedroom with no a/c. It was so hot in there that I would sweat all night. This a/c ended those nights of heat. It has cooled down my bedroom extremely well. I highly recommend purchasing this unit.

I just received it, but it appears to be passing the test™¦ blows colds, good air volume, and an excellent ™dry™ setting that I run on eco to save money. It™™s a bit noisier than the 20 yo Friedrich tank it replaced, but at half the size/weight, it works great™¦ and likely burns half the electricity. Easy transaction, superb customer service, arrived as promised within 48 hrs™¦ it was overall just a pleasant experience, even though I likeky paid a few extra $$ than some Amazon vendor. I™™m happy with my choice!

Works great for a little AC! Set up and installation was really easy and the curtains actually fir in the window! Many other air conditioners curtains don't fit well in the window and u end up having to insulate all these areas that are open, this was not needed for this one. Great pick!

The Air Conditioner is working fine but I am very disappointed with the remote. It doesn't have a display on it, so you have to get up to adjust it because without the display you don't know what settings were made. I looked into it a little and found a remote that does have a display. I don't understand why that is not shipped with the product. The remote with the display seemed a little pricy but I might buy one. Like I said, a remote without a screen to see what you changed is useless.

Front panel indicator lamps are both tiny and recessed from the front panel, making them practically impossible to see unless viewed from directly in front of the unit. If not standing almost exactly at 90° from the unit, there is little chance the lamps will be seen. Also the text labels for the lamps is also nearly microscopic. Works well, but operating it is not the easiest.

Does what I need it to do. I like the dry setting which definitely helps to remove some of the humidity during hotter months. It™™s a bit louder than other brands that I have used in the past, but it™™s manageable.

This window air conditioner easily does what it is supposed to and more. Great features and modes. Auto mode works well so it doesn™™t need to run all the time once it cools the room down. The only reason it™™s not 5 stars is the volume while it™™s running. A little loud for a small office when having a phone conversation.

This is my second Frigidaire window air conditioner; my first one (an older model) is in a different room. When this new unit was installed, I didn't notice ™ until I attempted to use the remote control ™ that the mode lights on the unit's front panel are extremely small and are slightly recessed from the front panel. This means, unless one is standing almost exactly 90 degrees in front of the unit, it is impossible to see the mode lights, especially from several feet away, sadly making the remote control useless in such circumstances.

Amps to BTUs performance for this unit is exceptional, and it is so quiet, and easy to install. The value price point is unbeatable too. For a small room this unit is perfect. Installation was simple and after sealing off the sides with additional insulation foam and weather tape there is no draft coming through. My older air conditioner that one replaced was much heavier and larger so I was worried that this unit would not be powerful enough but so far its proven more than capable.

This was awesome was easy to install, love the feature where you set it to a certain temperature and it keeps that in the room. It's nice having the remote so when you're watching TV you don't have to get up and change it.

Just installed to replace an older version of the same unit. The incessant high pitched sound is not bearable. Waiting until business hours to get in touch with customer service to hopefully send a technician and avoid uninstalling and returning this heavy delivery. Really disappointed as an avid Frigidaire buyer.
