By the worst appliance I have ever owned. Shakes, vibrates and very loud. It level and the floors are solid. The GE service tech worked on it for 2 hours and said, "I wish I could help but there is nothing I can do." Now they want me to buy a solid riser. Why would a riser be stronger than the floor it sits on?

As stated by many reviewers this machine vibrates excessively and is very loud. I find the machine often gets unbalanced by the rinse cycle. I even had a repairman tell me I was loading the machine wrong. Loading is not the issue. It is balanced at the beginning. Unfortunately I cannot control the way the machine moves the clothes around. This is also my first machine without an agitator. Hopefully it will be my last. I don't feel this machine cleans well and that might have to do with is be agitator free.

I purchase my GE Washer a year ago and it does vibrate some what but these pads abate that quite a bit. Expected some vibration as this is a high speed washer.

Six months ago I purchased a GE washer model # GTW460ASJ4WW. It is far and away the worst appliance I've ever owned. It is very noisy, and it vibrates and shakes while in use, despite a service visit from the appliance store to balance it. I've always respected the GE brand as a world class company that prioritizes quality and customer service. Now, as if the washer isn't bad enough, I receive an email from GE Appliance Parts offering to sell me Anti-Vibration Pads. Really? Every customer who bought this inferior washing machine should receive these pads for free, and frankly, a refund for the washing machine might be even more appropriate. You've lost a customer.

Make some decent washing machines and there will be no need for these! I have never had a washing machine that shakes so much! My previous GE washer was over 14 years old when it died and I never needed to purchase anything like this!
