Continuous Feed System allows for constant grinding for quick kitchen cleanup after meals. The disposer is connected to an electrical switch, making operation easy.

Lift & Latch® Technology features a notch in the disposal body that aligns with a tab on the lower mounting ring, holding it in place. This eliminates the challenge of having to hold the disposal with one hand while adjusting the mounting ring with the other hand.

Motor Overload Protector with Manual Reset disconnects power automatically from the disposer in the event of a mechanical jam, over-heating, or electrical power overload. Easily reset power to the disposer with the push of a button.

The Kitchenaid 1/2 HP continuous feed Garbage Disposal KGCX112RXX is a Fantastic unit. The quality of Kitchenaid is of the highest standards. No vibration, very low noise and the grinding and drainage is everything one could ask for in this Great Price Level. You can always depend on the Reliability of Kitchenaid. They even make the install very easy for the do it your self people.

This Kitchenaid disposal is great at grinding and drains well. Noise level is as expected. No counter or sink vibrations are noted.

Noise is acceptable. The longevity is questionable. The grinding mechanism rusts within several years. The last KitchenAid disposal lasted about 6 years. The grinding mechanism rusts fairly quickly and the teeth dull. Since this is the fourth KitchenAid disposal I have installed in my home I know I can trust it to work at least 6-8 years. I have both a KitchenAid Range and Refrigerator that are over thirty years old.

Disposal works as expected, however when filling out the warranty information the web site tried to put us into a $40/month payment plan without our permission. We stopped and got out of the website. This has never happened to us before. This is a Kitchen-Aid product.

A good design, a lot of room, nice features including an outer door, separate refrigerated drawer, good depth in the freezer. The back lighting inside adds a nice brightness. 'Only wish is that doors were easier to close but not a deal breaker.

I bought this disposal about a month ago and have been very satisfied with its performance. It is the replacement for a previous one of the same model which I was also completely satisfied with. I have always been completely satisfied with the KitchenAid appliances I have owned.
